Our clients Since 1993 , Noise Control has been providing services to mainly small to mid-size companies, as well as to occupants of housing complexes. Clients include electrical utilities, metal, manufacturing, chemical, paint and others both in the operations and in the office environments. Additional clients have been private citizens with noise problems in or around their dwellings. Our services The wide range of services includes in-plant noise exposure surveys and assessments, outdoor acoustic assessments and acoustic audits for the Ontario Ministry of Environment, as well as vibration measurements for the evaluation of the risk of workers exposed to vibrations (whole body and hand-arm) as well as for the assessment of the environmental impact. Our personnel The principal of the company, Alberto Behar, is a Professional Engineer and Certified Industrial Hygienist as well as a Certified Member of the Institute of Noise Control Engineering. A Professor and Researcher at the University of Toronto , he has conducted numerous studies on noise and vibration issues, including hearing protectors and noise exposure assessments of non-traditional professions such as music teachers and musicians from the Canadian Opera Company. He is also active in standards committees both in Canada (CSA) and abroad (ANSI and ISO) .
